Children's Programs
LEGO Build (Children’s Department) – Each Monday from 3:30-4:30PM throughout November there is the opportunity for kids to test their building skills. We have a variety of Legos and would love to see your creations. Bring a friend and get building!
Tales Around the Town – Kendall Young Library along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. Each week families are invited to meet at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location! November is full of excitement as we visit new places. No registration required. Just follow the signs for the fun!

Nov. 17th – Empower Nutrition (916 Superior Street) – 5:30PM
Wild Things (TK-2nd) will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45-5:00 PM in November. This time will offer a variety of stories and activities each week. Join us for all the adventures.
Fuzzy Ducklings (Under 3 years) will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:30AM in November. This parent/child experience is fun for everyone.
Hungry Caterpillars (3/4 year Preschool) will meet on Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:30AM in November. This is a fun and interactive story time!
Tween’s Time (3rd – 5th grade) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45-5:00PM in November. They will explore crafts, STEM, cooking and so much more.
Friday Cookies, Scoops, & Books – Drop in at the Children’s Department on Fridays (November 7th, 14th, & 21st) between 3:30-5:00PM for an afternoon snack as you pick up some books for the weekend. This is a come-and-go event.
Drop-In Saturdays – Kids and families are invited to “Drop-In” to enjoy a time to get creative! Each Saturday in the Children’s Department there will be a come-and-go activity available from 10:00AM-4:00PM.

Teen Programs
Teen Lounge – Patrons in 6th-12th grade are invited each Tuesday in November from 3:30-5:00PM. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more! This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.
Homeschool TECH BUILD - Students will have time to work on a Mousetrap Car on Thursday, November 20th from 1:00-3:00PM where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth 2nd-12th grade and will be held each month in the Teen Area. Parent participation is encouraged.
As always, every day the Teen area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books, and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun!
